Just because its an exclusive doesn't make it a good game, list examples please. Bluray is awesome but he doesn't care about it. Blue tooth is better how? I recall there being a lot of issues with the blue tooth mics and controllers . RROD really isn't an issue for newer consoles, wasn't that big of an issue for older ones either. Edit: That may have come off a bit fan boyish , but I just don't like it when people say something is better but don't say why or how.

i have had my launch 360 since day one and it still runs strong. i had a ps3 and it was ok, but i like the 360 better. i have played several games that were out for both systems and i find less slowdown on the 360.
as for graphics. i really dont see much of a difference. i dont care for bluray movies atm. regular dvd movies suit me just fine. not a fanboy here just a regular gamer who knows what he likes, and has experience with both consoles.

With the PS3 you also get built in wireless networking which is an extra on the Xbox 360, although not sure if this is something you needed. I'd get the Xbox 360 Arcade now because of the low price and then once you've had some use out of it maybe get a PS3 when the price is reduced (whenever that may be, but it's bound to happen at some point). Some of the PS3 exclusive may be out by then.

I loved my 360 for a while, then I got tired of paying $60 for games. Thats why I built my sig rig. But I never liked the PS3, mostly just personal preference. I hate their controller, PS Network sucks IMO. And not really any games that really catch me off. I say go with 360.

I own both and prefer the ps3 but that being said... buy a used 360 from someone locally. You will pay less than the price of two new games for it. If you don't like it you can always resell the 360 and/or buy a ps3 too.

its really up to you, ive owned both consoles and i thought the PS3 sucked. For me it just didnt have enough games for me to keep it so i sold it and kept my 360 plus i have tons of friends with 360's and live. It really just comes down to what your friends have + what games you like.

I mean it was an issue just that people jump on the RROD like every console was affected, alot were but hey atleast they admitted they screwed up offered a free repair.
Don't buy a 360 because it will red ring as an argument is irritating. I just didn't want that to be the deciding factor here.
