Hi

I really wanted to know which console (xbox 360 and PS3) has more FPS games?...Please Psot All the ones you know..

BUT please no alien stuff or zombie stuff...just milatary FPS games
eg.BF: Bad Company (btw there is Bad company 2,which looks awesome) and Killzone 2 , Call Of Duty world t war etc

X360, based on the fact that there are more total games for that system. I refuse to list any of them because my butt hurts.

That doesn't necessarily mean that it has more military FPS games...

I'm sure there's a similar list out there for PS3 so you can compare.

Can probably pick out which are or aren't military.

PC for fps, console for platform and fighting games =P.

But if you really want to play fps games with a controller, I would say ask yourself what games you want more, Halo3 and Gears 1 and 2(yeah they are 3rd person) or Resistence Fall of Man and Killzone.

Otherwise both systems have the same games. 360 has a crappy pay for online service with terrible server hosting.

All console exclusive FPS are alien shooting games, more realistic games come out on pc too.

But really just play fps on a pc, 1000x better on pc imo.

EDIT: For the price of either console I can build you a very nice gaming pc.

Is that all you guys can call against the 360 is how you have to pay for online play? DO YOU GET INTERNET FOR FREE? How about your power? is that free?! It costs money to host and power these servers which are PERFECT on most games on the 360. RROD is now more of an isolated problem with the newer chip sets coming out. Anyway you put it nothing can touch a 360 experience.

PS3 on the other hand, I love there control compared to an xbox 360 controller, fits nicer in your hand. Wish the triggers were buttons like the ps2 controller, but ill live. I love the true HD and not the 360's "Fake" HD by just expanding and stretching a 720p image.

Both of them have goods and bads. Stop pulling out how you have to pay for XBL. it's 50$, this is OCN. we spend hundreds on computers, yet we cannot fork over 50$ for one of the smoothest online experiences to date?

And no, Exclusives are not all alien shooter games. Look around the lists. Halo is only big because 12 year olds have there parents buy it. Killzone 2 is only good because it looks stunning. (Crysis? hmm? Kidding!).

My problem is not that you have to pay for it, but that you have to pay for it and that it has TERRIBLE servers. I own a 360 and I do not own a ps3. Let me quote myself you so you can truly understand my hate of xboxlive-

I have consistently been placed in laggy games while playing on live, most especially during cod4 and gears of war 2 online matches.

Also because it's matchmaking and there are not servers, every one joins at the beginning of the round and no new players may join afterward. So your playing a game of Halo3 and your team starts to lose, 3 people on your team leave and suddenly it's 8v5 and your really getting it handed to you. Once this happens the match is ruined.

Playing with a good group of your friends doesn't make it any better. Say your playing gears of war with a group of 4 friends who are all pretty good. You start beating the other team pretty well and guess what? Half there team leaves before the match is half over. The match is ruined.

My biggest gripe with xbox live is that they don't use servers to host their online games and that they use matchmaking to find a server for you instead of letting you pick one, this makes xbox live online gaming a vastly inferior experience to what you get on a pc.

So for 55$ a year you get a substandard service, with a horrible community, laggy matches that you cannot choose by ping, and terrible sportsmanship.

I am not sure if the ps3 works the same as xbox live or not, any one know?

Anyways it's obvious by now that I hate xboxlive and cannot recommend it to anyone, no even wish it on my enemies.

4.)1BN of Microsoft's money going to fix the above, which is bottom line for Redmond, which means Vista and 7 might be a few more dollars...with or without corporate insurance.

Ok, I'll leave that there - he can read my multitude of posts about that if he wants. For the OP.... yeah dude, listen to the people talking about amount of games overall (360 wins). If you didn't like that answer, really - you should have done your research on your own. These are opinions, that guy (like me) am guessing that you'll find more on 360. Take it or leave it - there's always Google.

I see your gripe, but all of this can be solved by muting them OR just taking off your headset all together.

I have not once seen a stoner rapping. But I have seen 12 year olds with names glorifying a pixelated suit of green. Yes they are obnoxious, so what you do? MUTE/UNPLUG HEADSET. I have had a laggy game or too. Really I just quit it off then went searched again and got a spree of 40 unlaggy games. Until I got one host who decided "HEY I'M GONIG TO PLAY XBL WITH DIAL-UP! LOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOOLOLOL I'M SO AWESOME!".

I have never, nor has anyone I know ever had a RROD. And most have had them since release.

The discs get cut because they tip them on the side while they are running, if not that then they just got a bad 360. It happens.

My 360's video went out. Really not big of a hassel, sent it to microsoft, had it back in 2 weeks. and that is cross country shipping. Very nice.

Oh please. It is 3$. With market inflation I think ti would not even be noticeable.
