I recently got a Steam account and downloaded HL1 and Star Wars: KOTOR. Just wondering if there is a way to use an xbox controller with these game?

Some game support them. I played Left 4 Dead and TF2 with an Xbox 360 controller.

As for star wars I do not know, however source games work great with controllers, assuming you're running Half Life - Source, this will work.

Sure there is, you will just have to map the buttons on the controller to the actions you need. With any luck there may already be an option for that.

I think the games that support them work flawlessly, such as L4D and Street Fighter 4(The ones I've personally tried). I'm sure though you could enable it though the options or use something similar to this -> http://xpadder.com/
