Good parts, numbers suck! ?????
I was wondering if someone could take a look at my setup and possibly give me an idea why the numbers dont look good when I run a game. I have not overclocked anything yet but I thought I would get a hell of a lot more than I did stock! Anyone have any ideas?
__________________I dont know the numbers right this second but I can run them again and give them if needed.

It depends on the game really, although at 17", you shouldn't have any issues. If you are getting WAY lower than you should, and you find games unplayable, or randomly laggy, try to roll back the video card drivers to 9.7, as 9.8 and 9.9 are terrible, or just wait for 9.10 to be released shortly. The beta drivers are available here:

Thanks for the replys so far. I just installed Windows 7 and I didnt back up some files so the "free" 3dmark that came with the motherboard no longer works after I reloaded it. they want $$$$. Is there a "free" program to run my scores? Sorry, new to all of this!

.....Guys, I don't know why you're assuming 17" = low res.
That always drives me nuts when people do that. It's the res, not the inches, that decide. as for OP's issues....are you sure you didn't get a botched OS install? Maybe Windows 7, in all of it's beta glory, didn't properly do something? do games run fine or are those acting up too?
