Wink Most Stressful Game Not Crysis!!!

So most people tend to think that Crysis is hard to max out well its not. I mean I can play Crysis on Very High at 1280x1024 with out a hitch. But Supreme Commander on the other hand is a different story. My computer and most likely yours too grovels for mercy wile playing Supreme Commander. Don't believe me load it up and play for say an hour with 4 people or so and you will agree. Oh also it is the only game that has caused my system to use more than 3gigs of ram. IMO their should be a Supreme Commander hardware stress test.

There is a difference between a single player game causing a system to crawl and a game with multiplayer with 4 others over a network causing a system crawl.

Hahaha those benchmarks are worthless. Because they probly only run it for 20mins when their is still very little going on. That is why I said play for an hour or more with many people and the unit cap at 1000.

4 people playing or 4 ai's playing? I bet if your talking about AI its your cpu holding it back.

BTW is supreme commander a good game? I really like the C&C style of RTS's is it kinda the same way?

He is also playing at 1280x1024, Crysis is less intensive at lower res but a RTS is still intensive at lower resolutions (CPU) hence your perception of Crysis being less intensive? You say that the game only uses 60% of your CPU but has the other 40% been used by other programs?

However, I will agree that RTSs eat up a lot of resources after the game gets bigger. AoE3 for me went from 60fps to like 20fps in one game :/
