hi everyone having truble using Betwin for lan games ive tryed everything nothing seems to work

im running Host + 2 stations on it.

specs winXp SP3 illusion V2
Cpu: AMD sempron 140 sck AMD3
Memory: 4 gbs 2x2gb Vdata 800mhz
Hdd: 80 gb Maxtor 7200rpm
Video Card : Nvidia GeForce 8500GT with 512MB DDR2 mem
Mobo: GF8100VM-M3 v1.0
PS: 400w
Using Betwin 2.00.419

( 1 PC, 3 monitors, 3 keyboards, 3mouses, ect.


Ive been trying to play Starcraft or Doom3 nothing seems to work I even Tryed Hamatchi but it uses the same network adaptor for all 3 stations .

i need help with this guys i hope u can help me out


on UDP it sais cant initalize server ( once on of the station has crated a game the other 2 wont take UDP )

so basically i need to be able to play any type of game over lan using this PC

yeah what ever it takes to get this issue fix ( sorry for posting on the wrong section ). ill be on stand by staring at my pc all day waiting for some good help.

I guess I am not fully understanding the problem. You are trying to play games in LAN mode, correct? Are these computers in the same physical location, or are they spread out over the internet?

Hamachi should work for you if they are all over the internet, otherwise a router will do you just fine.

isnt there some kind of VPn or something i can setup ? i tryed using winconnect server and it does detect my other staions but no luck for the games.

per say we play starcraft all 3 starcrafts are being run by the same cpu

they are all running from the same physical machine so there is is only 1 lan wire going to my Cable modem but i cant setup the lan because its only 1 machine . with the same physical address same IP ect.

Starcraft does not support splitscreen. In order for your plan to work, it would have to support splitscreen.

Starcraft takes next to nothing to run. Put it on your friend's rigs, should lan without any help.
