I'm looking for a good rpg or something that will last me a while and pass a lot of time without me getting bored. I'm going to be visiting relatives and such soon and am quite an insomniac, so I'll be fiddling on my phone a lot in the wee hours. I'd actually prefer something without "good" graphics, that all seems quite gimmicky to me and probably sacrifices gameplay. Something like tibia would be perfect.

If you want to try puzzle like games, try Trism, superb graphics and kept me entertained for a bit. Does get quite repetitive, so maybe try something like Line Rider. I'm reluctant to try shooters on the iPhone since lots of people claim it's horrid.

I'm looking for some kind of simple rpg-type game like tibia if that even exists. Those kinds of games tend to keep me the most occupied. C'mon, somebody must know of some good games out there!!!

I find Hero of Sparta pretty fun, the gameplay is actually pretty good and the graphics aren't all that bad. You should definatly atleast check out a review online.
