I don't understand why people suggest the chips just because of the higher allowable voltages. If you don't exceed what is listed in the specifications then you should have no problems. The 45nm chips overclock better on lower voltages, so you just have to realize less voltage will get you more overclock. That's probably why a lot of people are frying their chips.
