Hey fellas,
I'm looking for a Socket 939 Crossfire motherboard with the Crossfire Xpress 200 (RD480) or Xpress 3200 (RD580) chipset - such as an Asus A8R-MVP or A8R32-MVP. I'd also consider other boards with those chipsets, like a DFI LanParty UT CFX3200, DFI LanParty UT RDX200, Sapphire A9RD480, or Abit AT8. Background: I have a number of currently unused parts laying around (3700+ Sandy, Ballistix DDR500, X1800XT, etc.) ... so I figured I'd put them to use. A buddy of mine was looking to get a really cheap, modest gaming rig; and he also wants to learn how to put one together; so I figured this may be perfect for him - I'd help him out, then give it too him cheap. Plus, I want to overclock this sucker for fun. ![]() Guys (or girls), shoot me a PM if have any of these boards laying around - the parts should be put to good use! ![]()

I remember I bought that DFI lanparty CFX3200 back in the day for like 200 bucks.
I couldn't get that ULI SATA controller to work, I mean I got everything to boot, but I couldn't get the rig to run stable even on all stock settings. I didn't figure out that the board had 2 different SATA controllers, and that ULI controller was problematic until I sold the board on Ebay for less than 130 bucks. bah I was so pissed.
