Default Crucial Ballistix 1 GB dual sided

I am looking for 1 1Gb stick of dual sided Ballistix PC2-6400, BL12864AA804. I helped a friend with a build and one of his sticks went bad. He really wants to keep the dual sided sticks if possible. I know that we can RMA them and get a new matched pair back. But told him I would try to get him another dual sided.

Shoot me a message with a price if you have a single 1Gb to spare. Shipped to Ames IA, 50014.

Thanks to all.

I would just go ahead and RMA them. Dual channel ram is tested with both sticks together so that the timings match most closely and they work together well. If you get one that's a bit off from the other, you could have a hard time getting stock speeds stable out of the pair. (At least that's what I've read on the Crucial site. It could be all fluff though, but it makes sense to me.)

problem is that you wont get the dual sided ram back, they discontinued them for some single sided ram that wont over clock as well
