Original 60GB PS3 (can play all old PS2 games) - Overclock.net

Looking for an original release PS3 with the 60GB HDD option, it doesn't need to still have the 60GB HDD, it can be modded, but I'll need proof.

I'd prefer if it came with original packaging, but its not neccesary.

I'm not after any games in particular, but will take some with the unit if you have them.

List of games I'll take:
Any Final Fantasy games 7+ (excluding 11)
Flower would be cool, but it's downloadable content

Accessories I could use:
Wireless controllers
charging station
USB headset...

I looked, simply because I have one that the kids and I use. Don't think I'll be getting rid of it because of the backwards compatibility and literally HUNDREDS of PS1, PS2 and PS3 games we've accumulated over the years, although not ALL PS1 games will work

Good luck finding someone who will part with the best PS3 ever made, IMHO.

i love my 60gb ps3. I got it on launch day and it still works perfect. Im NOT gonna sell it, but BUMP for you. Its a great system. I was playing Gran Turismo 2 a while back (ps1 game) and my mom thought it was a ps3 game, shows how much older folks can tell lol.

Got mine on launch day too, but I cheated. I was a manager for WalMart at the time and was able to get 20% off (extra 10% Christmas Purchase Coupon), so I only paid a little over 5 bills for it

Again, to the OP, I wish you the best of luck finding one that has been taken care of. I knew from the beginning that it needed to be set on end because, obviously, heat rises and fans draw the heat out through the top.

Alot of people really didn't pay any attention to this on Christmas day and burnt it up after a few days of laying it flat on the carpet

That's really lame they stopped making them with the ps2 hardware in them. They should release a more expensive version and include it if price was the reason they stopped making them.

Anyways good luck you could try ebay but i bet the prices are are a ripoff, since the 60gb is "Better" then all the rest.
