There are definitely some c2q's in that price range but your prob only going to get 2-4 mb cache. if your going to spend the money on a non i7 quad make sure at least get a 9550 or 9650.

Otherwise just get a blazing dual core.

Q9550 is the minimum worth it quad which currently retails at $170 at microcenter and is already a great discount. You will very unlikely get it for under $100. Try to shoot for an E8200/E8400 or E7400/E7500.

Good luck trying to find a Quad for under 100 bucks? If you got a Core 2 Duo to trade and someone is willing they may trade you a C2D for around 60 bucks
