Goal here for me is to build a low-cost server with maximum reliability.

(If I were looking to spend more I'd pick up new kits for $53 and $80 after MIR)

EDIT: Ended up getting Corsair XMS 2x2GB kit brand new (only DDR2-800, though) for $80.

Since you're just wanting solid, reliable ram and not worrying about sky high overclocks, I can't suggest OCZ enough. To date, I've never had a pair of OCZ modules fail. The stuff just works I really like G. Skill, but I've had a few bad sticks in the past and I can't say the same with OCZ. These are the same price as what you're looking at.
