See my latest post, the rest have been answered.
This thread initially began as a topic on a few questions regarding watercooling. I have since then change the title and switched the subject.

I think you should go for a mag drive like the D5. I use that and am quite pleased--but I know eheim has it's fan club too. I just prefer a PC specific pump like the D5--it has the best head and ideal flow characteristic for our kinds of uses. Pond pumps are IMO best left in the pond where they do what they do best--live under water and push water around in a non restrictive loop--not sure about the 3/4" fittings--but oftentimes it is possible to dip the tubing in some boiling water and get it supple enough to stretch over that large a fitting--it would not have a deleterious effect at all on the loop.

if you want an AC powered pump the Eheim 1250 would be a great choice. However, for about the same price you could get a D5 DC powered pump and that would be my recommendation. That way you'll have 1 less cord running out your computer.

Ah, a dangerden pump; I wonder what type of load that'd have on my PSU. Would it be better to find an AC pump? I thought that the Eheim lineup was currently the best performing...Maybe there's a website that has a comparison on watercooling pumps I can check out?
Also, what about the l/h? Is there a limit?

Well, after a little bit of research I'm deciding on the AquaXtreme 50Z or the Swiftech MCP650..Hmmm..or a new MCP655..
Any suggestions?

Yeah? People reviewing it on newegg were saying it was huge lol. Ok cool. I will probably get that, all reviews say it's the best performing.
Anyone know where i can get one cheaper? Maybe used? Ebay doesn't have any up right now and I don't see any sales here currently.

Ebay has one for $89. But, you can get the Danger Den D5, same Laing pump, for about $67.50 at SVC.com with this coupon code: DANGERATSVC.

Wait..the Danger Den D5, Swiftech MCP655, and Laing D5 are all the same thing? Surely there has to be some differences..
