Default Does the DDC aka MCP355 make an audible sound?

I am considering getting one of these pumps because of its small size, but if they make an audible noise I don't want one.

The swiftech web site says that it is audible and should not be used in systems intended to be silent, but they sell the D5 for an outrageous price, so I dunno.

Yes, it does. It produces a high-pitched whine from what some users say.

Get the AquaXtreme 50Z-DC12 more powerful than the D5 and very silent. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=41495

Mine doesn't seem much louder then the 350... I have large Sunnon case fans though, I guess I couldn't really hear it over them any way....
