Default First Watercooling results!

After much reading in this forum and some soul-searching, I decided to try water cooling. I have a C2D 6600 at 3.6Ghz with a lapped swiftech apogee, a 8800GTX with a Swiftech GPU cooler and that new mounting bracket for 8800's (it is very easy to install, a triple rad which is singlepass, a bunch of the highest speed Scythe S-flexes, a D5 pump and a DD 5.25 bay reservoir. These results are after
10 minutes of stressing and my temps are actually lower now somehow Oh yea and I used masterkleer tubing with MCT-5 liquid only.

Nice OC! It's running really cool, especially with that OC. You have a bit more headroom. Have you tried to squeeze more out of that?

Nice. What's the best coolant out there? I was thinking of water cooling myself and I want to investigate this matter further; so far PrimoChill ICE Non-Conductive Fluid is looking really good.

Distilled water + Zerex is the mosy commonly recommended. Buying anything else will cost 3-4 times as much for marginal performance difference.

What is the absolute best performance wise, of course not $100 per 20 ounces but what's the best coolant, price $15-50 for a 16 or 32oz bottle.

Is that the socket temp or the core temp? The core temp is taken by a diode inside the cpu.

Edit: also whats your ambient temp? It gives us something to measure against to see how its really preforming.
