Good Guide--I think a universal transmission cooler would do the job--I bought one not long ago from one of those Auto Parts places--it had two barbed outlets the same size--only 3/8" ID though--pretty cheap too.

Great guide,
There is one thing I either overlooked, or isn't included. UV water dye, how much do you use and do you put it in last? Also I've heard of something which makes the tubes appear milky, is this down to having too much/not enough of something in the coolant? Lastly, are cable ties suitable for clamping the hose to the barbs, I thought of using UV ones, easier to put on and simple to cut short to smarted up?

I've never used cable ties to clamp hoses. They wouldn't be as reliable as some of the other options, but they would probably do just fine.
The one bottle of UV dye I ever bought was pretty horrible (or it was the black like, but I don't think so). I could hold the black light right up to the bottle of "concentrated" UV dye, and barely be able to notice any glow at all. But anyways, always just use the minimum amount that will get the coolant to glow how you want. If one drop isn't enough, add another, and another. And yes, I would probably add it last. The spa sanitizer that I am using will react with some of the other additives in your coolant. I believe it turned milky when added with UV dye, and with water wetter/zerex super coolant. Regardless, if you use the spa sanitizer, you only need one small drop. Your coolant can also turn milky if you don't use any spa sanitizer and you leave the same coolant in for over 6-12 months. Hope that helped.

FYI, It's a bit out dated on the parts though. If you plan to build, don't forget to ask for advice first.
