Create a new thread... HD water cooling is a huge waste of money. You don't always need a reservoir either.

Well, I won't make one since there's a lot of work, and I'm new to watercooling, but I'm just learning it for future reference. Good guide though, but I would mostly buy the ones that already are made for you then you just have to put it together somehow. =P Do you have to check watercooling every now and then? You don't need to put thermal paste either, right? The only thing that I'm scared of is that of the leaking. With heatsink and fan, I wouldn't have to be worried about the leak except the thermal paste, which is much easier than the watercooling, I think. So basically, do you have to check it now and then?

Silly question, but it'd make a nice link..
Every watercooling how-to I've seen tells you to hot wire your psu so you can run the pump to get the air out. It be nice to link a how-to on hotwiring psu's... given the cost and power output of psu's now and these days it'd be nice to know how to do it safely without frying it or yourself.

its easy.
take the large 20/24-pin connector.
look for the green wire.
connect it to any black wire.

I have a question: How long does the water last within the watercooling unit and tubes? Does it eventually evaporate, how often do you have to change the water?

Hmm, thats more often than I thought, is there some kind of warning or reminder that lets you know when to change or how low your water level is getting that comes packed with some retail water cooling kits?
