I think the DB-1 is suficient for a low restriction loop...and I betcha two of them on opposite ends would push through a fair amount of blocks/rads... at $50 it's hard to beat... I agree it would be a great thing to quantify--if I keep everything the same and only change the pumps it should be clear if it drops the temps at all... @Mikey--there are so many choices out there it's hard to know what's the best bang for the buck--from a Heatercore for $27.50 to a PA 3.120 for nearly $200...and now there are some insance rads with 9.120 dimensions... That and a 1200 Watt PSU should make anyone's eMember considerably longer... But after much reading on the matter back when WC was still very rare and new to the scene I came to the POV that Stew Forster is god. The stuff Cathar came up with RE rads and Waterblocks still works great today...now there are always iinnovations--so when the FuZion hit the scene I wanted to see what was what--and it seems to be a great block. But when it comes to RAds I will really have to see some proof that there is anything that will hang with ThermoChill. To that end I just got a pair of BIP II rads to test. Considering how famous I am on the internet I would have thought HW labs would be sending me product to test...but nooooooo I had to buy them--so I am already predisposed against them...they should at least buy me dinner or a drink...just to butter me up--being a hardcore Thermochill Fanboy ![]() We will see... If the do perform I will be soooo happy to save $50...if not they will make someone else happy here on the FS threads ![]() I would love to find a high perf rad that is only 25mm thick--as it would fit up in the top of the 900 on the inside--which would be super slick...

Hey CD I just saw on the spec's those little pumps will operate at up to 13.2V that might give them a decent little bump in the flow department...

Hmmm...well I am still too busy to tear into the Test Tray ATM...but I will be making some improvements.
Funny thing about running an Online biz--it takes just as much time as any other biz...and since my customers are nocturnal it makes for some late nights too!

DB-1 http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=21455
$45 500 LPH 2m head Any chance of benchmarking these: Magicool Compact: Cheap but I suspect it is too weak. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=21623 $35 270 LPH No head rating though AlphaCool AP700: This might beat the DB-1 in low restriction loops since it has a greater flowrate but lower head. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=21607 $50 720 LPH 1.5m head AlphaCool AP1510 http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=4505 $100 1500 LPH 6m head

I just wish I had enough mojo to get out there and run that roof--I need to get that done ASAP--but between staying up till 2 AM and spending 6-8 hours online it's just not happening...maybe tomorrow.
