alright, so here it is. i have had my same case oh maybe 5 years ( an old TT Xaser III ) that has been hacked up and ripped apart many times over. i have been in the process of finding a new case and i decided on the Lian-Li V1200 (originally wanted a v2000 because i felt the v1000 was a tad too small but the v1200 seems to look like the best of both) anyways, in typical me fashion when upgrading something major (such as case) i have a habit of upgrading everything else ive outgrown.. and along with this upgrade is my current and in need of change liquid system :P
__________________first off, my old liquid system is an Asetek waterchill kit, including the antarctica cpu block (with both amd and intel mounting plates), chipset block, gpu block, black ice xtreme 2x120mm rad, 12v pump/radiator combo and 4 adda fans.. (one full bottle and one half full bottles of primochill pcice and a thermaltake flow meter included in that) Anyways.. my friend wants it, so i guess im planning on selling it but i dont know how much to charge? what would be a respectable price to ask for all of that? secondly, based on everything ive read, researched etc. here is what i have come up with for the new jazz.. some is optional based on final price and what i can get for my old stuff. if anyone wants to, feel free to comment on any changes you think might need to be made. cpu D-tek Fuzion NB DD Maze4 gpu Swiftech MCw60 w/g80 adapter pump Swiftech MCP355 w/ddc top ( or a Laing DDC-2 same thing basically) rez EK200 multioption rez (rez not really needed but i like having it) rad thermochill 120.3 rad fans 3 SilenX Ixtrema Pro 120x38mm 18dBA planning on runnin 7/16" tubing and thirdly, regarding everything as a whole i have a few minor questions.. 1. the PA120.3 seems to only have 3/8" barbs, is that going to create a lot of stress on the pump and bottleneckin running 7/16 tubing? should i change the whole loop to 3/8?? 2. the Lian-Li v1200 is a long freakin case, and i'm not worried about the 120.3 rad fitting up top lengthwise, but im not sure about the width.. i know the rad by itself is about 2.5" and with fans on it will be a little over 3", does anyone have enough experience with the V series to know if it will fit in relation to the motherboard? the top 1-2 5" bays i can live without.. if anyone has any comments on anything or if i left somethin out lemme know, i just wanna figure out as much as i can before i order all this crap :P cheers ![]()

After reading this thread:
__________________http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...my-gtx480.html I would not go with the SilenX fans. Their dBa is not what is advertised and they are expensive as hell. I would go with Panaflo fans from svc.com. I'm not sure what CFM you need with that PA120.3. I know they work well with low CFM, but I don't know from experience.

3/8" threads are also great for 5/8" barbs.
__________________1/2" barbs on the left and middle, 5/8" on the right with 7/16" ID Tygon. 5/8" barbs are almost 1/2" ID. Only problem is most online PC stores don't sell the barbs, I could only find them at a local rancher type supply store. I wish everything was 3/8" NPT threaded, but it seems everything PC is slowing going to the G1/4 fitting. ![]()
