I bought some blue 1/2" Primoflex UV reactive tubing and they somehow don't glow under LED fans. My Fluid XP green glows fine under the same light.
__________________Also, tried those under some white CCFL lights, no luck either. Does some light / UV dye color combination glows better than others? Which UV light that illuminate the reactive tube / coolant the best?

Try it with CCFL's that aren't white or actual UV lights. UV reactive stuff doesn't glow under normal LED's. Try the purple or blue UV cathodes, works nice.

Non-UV LEDs wont make UV reactive stuff glow.
You need UV cathodes or UV LEDs.

Some colors are just more reactive than others. Green for example in coolant like hydx reacts really easily, where blues like Pentosin G11 not so much.
I had to brew a mixture of G11 and UV dye drops from petra's before I could get the blue up to par with the green. ![]() ![]() Also I've found the UV reactive fans like the one exhausting out the back of my case are not very reactive...you almost have to have a UV cathod tube right on it before you get much effect.

by the way martin, which fan is that, I was wondering, but just by looking at it in the dark, all I can tell is that it's blue and "uv" reactive acrylic, could be any number of fans. I got one that looks just like it for exhaust, i'm going to guess a yate loon?
