Default Custom Water Cooling...is this good?

Here's the system that I'm looking at right now, not sure if this will be adequate for my system...

Pump: Eheim 1048
Radiator / Fan: Cooler Master 80mm (not sure which one, it's blue and it's not the Aquagate Mini)
GPU Block: Thermaltake Aquarius II
CPU Block: DangerDen/Innovatek (not sure)
Tubing / Barbs: 1/2"

What do you guys think? I really have no experience with Water Cooling and would really appreciate any advice / tips / recommendations, thanks!

You should stay away from Thermaltake blocks, the tend to crack/leak/suck.

Also, you'll need a bigger radiator if you're planning on cooling a CPU and GPU. At least a 2x120mm radiator, for the best results, 3X120mm radiator.

Not sure about the CPU block.

The pump is okay, but it doesn't have a lot of head and with a rad and two blocks in the loop you might want to get a more powerful pump.

What's the max amount of money you can spend on the setup?

You might as well wait until you want to get some good stuff, or don't do it at all. You would be a lot better off upgrading the air-cooling for $100 that scraping together a half-***ed WC setup like that.

lol, thanks for your candor!

By the way why is it so bad? Flow rate for 2 Rads like trendy mentioned? Bad CPU block? Is it really not that great for under $100?

No problem.

It's just that most good air coolers would whoop that loop. Most of those parts are old, and cheap. It's not that any one part itself makes the setup bad, but the combination of those just doesn't look good.

lol, thanks for the advice guys, I do agree, for a setup like mine, I will really need i) heavy flow rate, ii) good blocks and iii) excellent heat dissapation. My CPU has an 89w footprint and I think the GPU is at 125w...over 200w for a loop like that just won't cut it especially if I am going to OC.
