Agreed. I have already come up with several variants. I want too boox it in and make it somewhat less rigged looking.

Which one? The Window box was cheaper than cheap. The rad and pumps are about $215, Aluminum and Acrylic maybe $35. The Monolith? God knows...I don't want to know and don't ereally care: it does the job and cools three Kentsfields OCed...

Oh wow, you have no idea how long I've been dreaming of something like this... I live in Finland. Gets to about -20C here in the winter. I'd just put my Reserator out the window and watch the temps go down... I'd do it if it was always that temperature here. Would just have to stick some foam on my mobo and around the tube or something... It'd be beautiful...

I added abouot 7% to the loop today...just to make sure it's got some anticorrosive property to it.

Hmmm, now there is no doubt i will one day (1st q of 2008) be going water cooling, now i find this really interesting as i live in scotland....might be a bit cold for that though...on the otherhand you could adapt this idea to have the radiator is a mini fridge...i just happen to have one of those doing nothing.....

Mother Nature > mini fridge. Geo Thermal is really the way to go..but I don't feel like digging a hole...

Well yeah, but generally geo thermal deals with heat, not cold. Unless you were on, like, pluto.

I had been thinking about modding a mini fridge or even better: a mini freezer. I'm in Michigan, so it gets friggin cold in the winter, but hot in the summer, so a fridge would be great...

Once you get below frostline the Earth is at a constant 54F. Constant: meaning every day all day regardless of the season. Hence GeoThermal Cooling.
