Hey NP...Be sure to just put it on about the top 2/3's of the barb so it wont go down into your blocks...I really like doing it like that so I can tighten them down fairly tight....It will have a little bead of it that will come out around the top of the barb, I just leave that on there like an extra washer.....

I don't know Blowie I've not had one...That might just be the date of manufacture...Just hang on to the receipt that comes with it, your warranty should start from that date...

i just opened mine, sticker is intact and is sticking to the middle part
