Hi.

Danger Den and Ek both make nice full cover blocks. Most times they are listed as the 8800 GTX block but they fit both.

Yeah, I would recommend getting the MCW60
and some ramsinks or perhaps the dtek unisink version 2 (which I know fits the GTX, but I'm not sure about the Ultra, but they are the same, so it should fit)

Cool. That looks the same as my cpu block. So I know it works

They are plenty. Ram doesn't generate too much heat, but it still can fry itself if uncooled. However, it doesn't take much to dissipate the heat. Besides, we wouldn't use/recommend them if they didn't work.

What kind of temps are you getting with the EKs?

I can't speak for FC blocks, but universal (mcw60s) blocks are nice because well they work on every card and will work in the future unlike full coverage specific card blocks...
On the average, a single gpu block will cool better than a full coverage since it's only cooling the dye and not the entire PCB.

Its like <43C idling, but they're in sli in the same loop as my quad (which is loaded right now at ~60C. They don't hit 50C under load though.

Thanks for that DR4GON. good to know. I have only been looking at the full cover blocks until I posted today.
__________________I will have a look for the ram sinks now as the blocks seem pretty straightforward. Oh and thanks owner.
