im going to take the system home on monday! i had enough of this lol.
i want that thing 3.6 stable. i locked up on a super intensive render and it corrupted my file because it was in between the saving process and rendering process. i tend to kill systems, i have more then 3 3dsmaxs running at the same time all doing different kinda of batch renderings some times even with several different standalone renders... while modeling and OCNing ![]() someone please tell me NB getting alittle warm wont effect stability too much HIGH OC is always nice but i really need a performance and stable system. cant have this thing crash on me all the time, i would get fired :/

the maximus really does benefit from lower NB temps... stability wise. so you could get some thermalrights for your chipsets and mosfets if you have the money. perhaps a WB for the NB.

The SE waterblock is a POS, from what I read. Most people have swapped it out, and it looks like the regular edition still has a removable NB HS. Evil, what is your NB volts?
I have an issue: I'm trying to do some RAM benches, but I can't tighten CR to 1T. It POSTs just fine when I set it to 1T, but all my benching software says it's at 2T! WTH?

^^ run a bandwidth test to see if the setting actually changed or not...1t should reflect some higher bandwidth scores.

No. It hasn't changed. It stays at 2T, even if I put 1T in BIOS.
