Default Dual CPUs, single 120 rad?

I will be running a pair of Xeon Clovertowns and was wanting to water cool them mostly to help lower the noise from the computer. There will only be some mild OC thru BSEL mod so I am wondering if a single 120 rad will be okay for both cpus. The reason I am looking at a single is it is going to be extremely difficult to fit a dual rad inside the case.

Eventually its going to get out, your case isn't air tight.

what case are you using? you might be better off running a pair of heatsinks with low-RPM fans.

125W x 2? Yes, a single rad will be fine if you're not overclocking heavily. Put a decent fan or two on it, but don't expect decent temperatures. It's not going to get too hot anyway, unless you're constantly benching all eight cores.

If you want quiet you need to get the biggest rad that you can for the surface area, the smaller the rad the higher cfm fans you would need to use on it...The 480 GTX is a good one .. GTX480 ..And Moddermart has a quad heater-core that would be good...And even then depending on OC and v-core you might need to run some fans on them...

case is a MacPro seeing as how the computer will be a MacPro

I was just about to say how I did not want to go with anything outside the case but as I was typing that I had a thought on where to mount all the stuff outside the case. So a single 120 rad is now pretty much a mute point.

Thanks for all the answers anyways.

Can't you get a GTS 240 in the case somewhere..? They're pretty slim and great coolers..
