um well i ordered from petra 2 days ago and got it today quick...

That's standard practice for many online retailers. Chill out.

The company stated on their homepage that they wouldn' be shipping any items purchased after the 20th Dec until the 2nd Jan. It's not their fault you didn't read the notice.

ok that makes sense, i'm chilled out, but it would of been wise to not just have it on the front page... who looks at the front page when they follow a link from google to their purchase and order... i guess it's all good, but i think i'm going to have to speed up delivery time now

has anyone recently bought from these guys? i ordered something on the 26th (last wed), which they took money out, and haven't received a tracking # email yet. i emailed them 2x and called 2x (just called today). so i'm just wondering what everyone's experience with these guys are if you ordered from them recently

This isn't exactly the best time of year to expect the best service from a company when it comes to correspondence and delivery times. I'm sure you'll get an email back in due time after the new year when the staff are back from holidays.

They're simply on holiday, with this in mind give them a call after the New Year to see when they'll be shipping your purchase.
