So are you saying the Arctic Silver Diagram is wrong, that is how I applied my TIM. I am getting the Fuzion V2 this week and was wondering how to mount it and set it up. I am also getting the quad mid-plate

No, the arctic silver diagram is correct for the alignment of AS5 or some other TIM. I was mistaken in thinking that that's how the quad core split in the fuzion was oriented

But problem solved by rotating the fuzion 90°
