@CrazyJoe: hey thanks! that looks like a very good direction to be going towards
@dr4gon: thanks! it took me about an hour to get all 24 cables sleeved, alot of redoing and my fingers were killing me, i used a needle to get the pins out, i love sleeves, simple but just makes things look so much better @Starholdest: say what? i dont get you lol i just finished installing the top grill with 2 110cfm scythes so thats all ready to go, still working out my lighting ideas and ballast placement. my mind is running in circles when it comes to the WCing, pump placement, effciencey, loops, style, everything im going nuts here! thanks for watch

well started thinking about rad placement and how to route tubing and came up with this
these are 1/2" 90*s which i will need to be using since i want to run mutliple loops with all the rads on the bottom. so basically its a compression fitting now. theres a 1/2" tall piece of 7/16" ID x 5/8" OD tubing between the fitting and the 90* and it seals really well. simple to put together i used a rubber vise to force the 90* + tube onto the fitting. i had leak tested it for a few mins last night ill leak test it again tonight. i think im going to use it. not a bad solution if you ask me![]() ![]()

That looks like a pretty good link that Joe gave you on roll your own PCB's...I really cant be much help with them, I just don't use them...I run my fans at 12vdc and the only light I use is a 4" UV cold cathode that I use to leak test with...Some of the little circuits are pretty neat though...

more progress going along, modified the existing mount to get some temps in before re doing my loop, but found some weird growth happening in my loop in just a few days, may have been something else but enough for me to want to drain my loop.
eddy says my 775 plate should be here this week, and he sending me a replacement for my ek res clip which is RIP.. its ok, eddy has got my back ![]() started to disassemble the original render slave, and though why not clean up the CPU. so instead of lapping i thought lets try rubbing compound, which is more abrasive then you would think. after 10 mins with just rubbing compound i got the IHS down to what i believe is copper? obviously not completely lapped but just did it for fun to see what it would actually do, risky with a $1000 dollar CPU but hey im crazy ![]() anyways enjoy ![]() green weird nasty stuff everywhere.. clinging to the walls! and that white stuff on the side of the anti cyclone was STICKY! i cleaned it all out with hot water and some detergent its drying out im going to cycle distilled tonight throught the system and drain it again before filling the ![]() i think im going to lap it later on this week when i pic up some sand paper ![]() just cut the edges off of the mount and it fit like a charm, doesnt look half bad either. not a big deal though since the 775 plate should be here any day now ![]() money shot looks good but the loop is tainted!

Thats really looking good, you do some nice work...
....Yeah rubbing compund works pretty well doesn't it, valve grinding compound is great to, it will take it off quicker...And that is copper under the nickel....If you can find a piece of plate glass 1/2-1" or thicker grab it...It is a lot smoother then window glass and doesn't bow like window glass will...I broke my piece a few months ago and need to find another one, the last one I got from a glass store for a couple of bux, it was just a scrap piece to them..
