Default WC 3x Ultras, QX9650 + 780i Board?

Right just need some ideas on how to tackle this..

3 Loops:

1) 3x 8800 Ultras with Full Cover EK blocks
2) QX9650 with D-Tek Fuzion
3) Full 780i mobo cooling with AF blocks

Case is a Lian Li V2000

Ideas I had:

PA120.3 in the bottom for GPU's (maybe add a PA120.1 in the bottom in the same loop)
PA120.3 in the bottom for CPU
PA120.1 in the roof for mobo cooling
Decided agaisnt this idea as warm air will most probably get trapped between then rads in the bottom and have a negative effect on temps.

OR

PA120.3 and PA120.1 in the bottom for the GFX.
PA120.3 sat on the roof for the CPU
PA120.2 in the bottom for Mobo.

Any further ideas on how to tackle it?

I looked at your Lian Li project and based upon that I won't even give you half an input here. It would be like teaching Beckham to bend it.

I think either one would work fine, good idea on separating in loops. Trying to do it all in one would mean high temps for the CPU.

Just keep an eye on air flow through the rads and in and out of the a case to minimize how much hot air you're recycling back through. The bottom rad or something getting nice cool ambient intake will cool better and would be best for the CPU.

That would be a fun build, post some pics!

How about a setup like this?

2x PA120.3s and a PA120.1 in the bottom, holes cutout in the floor with some fans blowing inwards and all the fans on the rads pulling heat out of the case?

do you have enough space on the bottom to lay the 120.3's flat? that might work better, but I doubt there's enough space.

Na there isnt enough room

So far i'm still thinkin about doing the idea above, 2x PA120.3's and a 120.1 in the bottom with all fans pulling air out and then stick 3 fans under the case blowing cool air in.

That should work OK Marcus...Of course it would be better to have them pulling in fresh air through the rads but if you cant you cant, having 3 pulling in cooler air will help it to anyway..

I feel for you that looks like a pain in the neck.........I just made a big tech bench and I'm already out of room on it just running a TEC CPU loop...

Well the guy im building it for has said he would be happy to have one of the PA120.3's sat on top of the roof providing I could paint the end tanks the same colour as the case.

I'm just a bit lost with what to do

This is another problem im facing.. that barb at the top of the stack:

Think I might be able to use some rotating elbow fittings on it though.

Is that all the space above the top barb that I can see there? No chamber above it? If thats the top of the case could you just have the tubing from the top rad go straight to that? If your using the top mount fro the GPU loop that is...

Really you would want the rad out in the room ambient to be the CPU rad, that is if he is wanting to OC it much...

Man a elbow sucks for flow but being its the GPU loop its not as important...Well to me its not it might be to him......
