This morning I noticed a kink in the back of my radiator. Not havign any extra clamps and being to cheap so spend money, i went about fixing it int he cheapest way possible, and here is what I came up with. First, the kink in question. (sorry for the blurry pictures!! My camera is on the fritz)
![]() A bad kink as you can see. first, find a paper clip. Now a small crappy one, one of the larger, sturdier silver ones. straiten it. ![]() Next, bend the ends out 90 degrees about 1/8th of an inch in. This serves two purposes, to keep them from puncturing the tubing, and to allow you to grip the clip. ![]() Next, bend the clip into as a good of a circle as you can. Do this in such a way that the bent ends meet at the top, pointing up. ![]() Place this hoop around the kink and grasp the ends with a pair of pliers. Squeeze together until it is even and tight around the tubing. ![]() Slide it up and down or rotate it until the best fit is achieved, and your done! ![]() As soon as i did this my idle went back to it's normal 28 degrees, where as with the kink it was 45. I hope this helps some other people out, any advice on how I could improve this guide would be appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Couldn't you just squeeze the sides?

If i did it with my hand it would just go back as soon as i let go, thats why i used a paper clip.

Petty neat trick...
...I've never done that, I just use a zip-tie or some of those cheap plastic hose clamp's...I like that a lot, very inventive, kind of like a compression hose clamp....

usually a kink means u didn't turn the tubing to fit in with the flow of the loop or too much excess tubing, but sometimes it's from shipping in the box that will kink the tubing.

Its a cpu only loop, the kink is where the pump goes to the cpu. It kinked because I cut the tubing to short, cut twice measure once, my motto doesn't work well...

Pump to the CPU?
What is the order of your loop?
