Yes I would like to know this too. Since I have a 680i, I think I would just use this to WC my CPU and GPU. Could the 120 kit handle them? (Possible upgrade to a E8400)

a custom built system has a much high potential i would say. how much better depends on how you define better, you mean how much cooler? depend on how your comparing the two as well. a custom kit with good parts will be much better say my q6600 has a dtek 360gtx mcp655-v etc etc comes out to be something like $300 for that cooler, and i get a load difference from idle at 3.6 of 8-10c generally idles at 30c depending on the ambient of that day.

how much better is a custom kit depends on the situation. for my situation, i dont think i can get any better for $120

edit

@ChielScape: i could make the 220 internal! lol

well if you get the 120-H20 you could upgrade rad thats about it. the block and pump are built together, minimizing tubing and space, but wont allow you much of an upgrade.

Yes, you would have to fork out around 50€/$ for a decent pump, then from 30-50 for a good CPU waterblock.

Edit I found this review of it, you can see how it fairs against the IFX-14.
