After looking around the interwebs, I found a guy that has been using the same solution, with RIT for 8 months, and no stained tubing.

This is Rit Whitener and Brightener, it's not a dye you can't even tell its in the water until you put under a blacklight, it's used to whiten clothes :P.

Not from what i've experienced/seen.

Don't use the dyes that RIT sells, they WILL stain tubing i tried the navy blue out on a small piece tubing that i have and left it overnight, it stained! :O, the rit/highlighter mix doesnt tho.

The whitener and brightener won't stain however.

i forget where i heard that it was real bad. that rits dye is going to stain your tubes like crazy, atleast i would think
Colder would appear darker because the particles are less excited, and thus don't release as many photons.

On the original topic, looks nice!

So...I am trying to get this straight. Is the 'whitener/brightener' an oxidizing agent? Is it chlorine based? Either of these would be not-so-nice to copper/aluminum blocks, not to mention the moving parts in yor pump. I dunno. I think I'll stick to the stuff made fo the system. I mean, you pay hundreds for watercooling components...why go cheap on a $20 bottle of liquid specifically made for this one purpose? On the other hand....how well does the highlighter dye work solo? I have heard of ppl using an automotive anti-freeze mix, and they swear by it.
