1. Get the color of dye that you want, I suggest using a highlighter. Cut it open, and squeeze out all juice into the dye, or if you have a res just shove it in there until its pure white. Rit also sells some color dyes, so you can try those, I haven't yet but i'm going to.
![]() 2. Get some Rit Whitener & Brightener, they have this in the laundry section in almost every grocery store. ![]() 3. Get a uv light, then start adding the Rit Whitener & Brightener, until you get the amount of uv reactiveness that you want. This produces a very nice uv effect. Close up UV lights on UV lights off Yes that is a tupperwear container. -STEEL

My only worry with the Rit is that the power will come out of solution eventually and potentially mess up your loop. When you mix that (this comes straight out of ira-k's book), leave it for a few hours in a cup or bowl to see if it precipitates out...

Under the UV it looks sweet, but I must say non-uv looks kind of weird.

Extreme Cooler
|
i heard highligher dye was bad, really bad lol ive been testing the theory for a while have multiple bottles out testing under different temperatures to see degradation in both cooler UV reaction and hopefully performance. so far ive have 3 bottles all made on the same date one sits no agitation in room temp, one has been in the fridge and one sits out side in the day and comes back in at night. only difference ive seen is when exposed to day light the reaction + color degrades, the cold one and room temp havent changed much, tho when colder appears darker..
i forget where i heard that it was real bad. that rits dye is going to stain your tubes like crazy, atleast i would think
