I am building my own waterblock, I am not sure if you have seen the thread. I was wondering what size o-ring you are using and how deep you cut the channel for the o-ring?

Also, what did you machine that out with?

Very good looking block and nice design for the nozzle and internals.

One thing though, it looks like it would be a little tricky to make sure that it got mounted flat since the cpu contact area is off to the side alot. Just wondering did you have any issues when yuou strapped it on to getting it flat at all.

Yeah, I did read through that, it should be pretty fun to try, and could work well also.

The oring IIRC is a 131 trade size. It is .100" thick, and I used a 1/8" diameter end mill to cut a .080" deep groove.

Here's the Parker O-ring guide, it has a bunch of engineering information on o-ring groove sizes, compression ratios etc. :
