Cool Decided to lap today
after spending much time reading about lapping, i finally made the choice and jumped in. lapped both cpu and block to 2000 grit. have some pics posted now. temps to come after reinstall. somebody please let me know if any of this looks ok. i have achieved almost "magnetic" atreaction between the cpu and block.

If your CPU is sticking onto your block without any paste or tape, then that is a fine lap job!

well it doesnt stick for long but maybe long enough to get a pic of. let me try that.
