Need some more expert opinions here. I'm trying to help an online friend with a water cooling setup. He wants to cool the following:
__________________E8400 CPU, dual 8800 GTS's G92"s, and the NB (I can talk him out of the NB). The problem is he has this mid tower case, an In Win F430: http://www.in-win.com.tw/f430/f430.html# ....it's pretty, but it's also pretty small. I've only seen this case online, so I don't have a good visual reference. He wants everything inside the case. He believes he could fit a 220 rad inside. Right now, my best suggestion would be a Swiftech MCR220-QP with the built in reservoir, MCP655, a good cpu block, and to air cool the vid cards with these: http://www.petrastechshop.com/thhrplhegpuc.html He could also make up even more room by going with the Swiftech H20-220 Compact, but I just hate combining the block with the pump if it can be avoided. However, it would save the space of having to place a separate pump and reservoir. What would you suggest?

with a mid tower case i dont think hes going to fit all of that in it..
personally i have the Xion II which is a mid case and i see no way of fitting a 220 rad in it even with my single cpu loop. I would suggest getting a 360 rad and either piggy-backing it or putting it on top of the case and not only would it be a better rad, but it would cool better due to the fact that its outside of the case. For the cpu, go with the D-tek Fuzion, its an outstanding block. if you do go with the 360 rad, i would suggest getting either a nice bay rez, or the swiftech Micro-rez, or, to conserve even more space, just tell him to get a T-line. Stick with the d5 (mcp655). as for the gpu blocks, im not entirely sure as to whats good and whats not, but im sure if you keep the rad external, you could find a way to fit everything else.

And mounting a rad outside of the case gives cool custom radbox options!

The main issue I see with an external radbox on the rear is that it looks like the rad would block the rear I/O panel. Maybe to side. Maybe he could mount the rad horizontal and angled in the rear top so it looks like a spoiler

well on mine, if u get a radbox, the only thing that the 360 rad covers up is the dvi slot on my gpu, other than that it looks more than fine. And even if something is relatively close to the rad, the wire will fit around it, as the radbox makes a pretty big gap between the case and itsself.
putting it on the top would look cool as well.
