Please enlighten me and tell me why brands like Koolance or TT are regarded as rubbish. Is it an overall performance issue or quality or are they just not in 'fashion' currently
![]() Reading through these forums I realized that Swiftech, D-tek and DD products are highly regarded. What about Alphacool. Basically please advise which are the best brands to stick to currently. Also if was going to by a WC kit, would you agree that Swiftech kits are my best choice. Your feedback is much appreciated. |

Check out this "Water Cooling Parts Buyer's Guide." I don't agree with it all, but it's very good. Gives you the run down on most of the major players and components, and why some players/parts are not held in high regard:

Though I don't really know about Koolance, many people has referred me to products like Swiftech, dangerden, etc..

Alphacool makes some decent stuff...The reason why we don't use a lot of the German gear is because they mix aluminum and copper which can cause galvanic corrosion...Galvanic corrosion ...All of its not mixed metal but you need to watch out for it....Some of Swiftec's new gear uses mixed metals also like the GTX cpu block and their Stealth GPU block...

its not true that they mix metals as much as you seem to imply, which mostly is done in passive systems.

A joke? No its no joke..You hang around here telling people how to WC when you have never WC'ed anything, puking up what you've heard people saying...Thats just lame...A 12 year old with a T-Take WC'ing rig knows a million percent more about WC'ing then you do....
