With some guidance by, Ira-K, I've compiled a list of components for my first watercooling setup. This will be a CPU only loop to lower my Q6600 B3 temps.

If you see anything you would change, please provide a product and explanation why you suggested it. This will be my first WC setup, and I will order parts tomorrow after getting a few replies/information from you'll. Any suggestions will be appriciate. Once all is ordered I will start a log and pictures of the Modifications I will do to my case. Thanks again! Edit: Here is my case: HERE

Looks good...
I would go with Ira on the 360 rad. BIX 360 would work great. $13 more for the 360. I'm running a 240 and a 360 together in one loop. http://www.dangerden.com/store/produ...&cat=85&page=1

You could drop that reservoir and go with a MCR320, and a MCRES if you want to use a res rather than a T-Line.

if you plan on modifying you loop or case in the near future you may want to think about putting a drain port in your loop to make it easier to disassemble later. i am kicking myself for not having installed one yet.

yes , its basically a t-line positioned at the lowest point of your loop , with a plug or better yet , a valve to drain the fluid out in case you need to take it apart , and you WILL be taking it apart , trust me..you'll love this stuff.

Appreciate the replies +Rep to all!
__________________My main decision is about whether to get a 240/360 rad. If I were to get the 360 where would be the most efficient place to put it? Also should I put 6x120 fans on a push/pull setup? Or does 3x120 work just fine? Once this choice is made, I will order all components! Thanks again all.

You mind me asking what fans will you be using to cool the RAD ?
__________________From what I've asked people, sunon and panaflo is good. Also if the noise is a factor, you can alwaays get a fan controller ![]() I would reccomend these ![]() http://www.svc.com/fba12g12m.html I also purchased a new WCing system recently and saw that it is actually cheaper to purchase all the products within one place, because shipping is pretty $$$ (not thread crapping). Maybe try to compare the prices from one place to another and see if you save any $

I have my MCR320 rigged to the back of the case with a RadBox. I'd say that's a pretty good place to put it if you don't mind having it placed externally.
Depending on the fans that you plan on using, 3 in a pull config should be fine. I currently have 6 Yate Loons in a Push/Pull config.
