Default Mcr320??

hey guys,
just wanted to see your view on the MCR 320...I currently have a GTS240 X-flow and was wondering would upgrading to the MCR320 make enough of a difference because I have an E6750 and 2x 8800GT in the loop...I was also wondering if i would need to add another pump to the loop to keep the flow rate good?? not sure this is my continued first cuztom WC build and just needed some input from some experts thanks guys

swifty rads arent the greatest..
if you want a 360 rad, go with the bixIII its only like 10 dollars more.

I think it would make a bit of a difference, but it really depends what fans you are using. Lower CFM fans work better for the MCR series

Nothing wrong with Swiftech rads at all. Someone (don't recall who) pointed out that Newegg has the MCR360 for $45. I doubt if you'll need another pump, but you didn't say which pump you currently have.

well I have a MCP655-B for my pump and I am getting the MCR320 with 3 yate loons

http://www.petrastechshop.com/swmcqposerab1.html
http://www.petrastechshop.com/12yalod1cafa.html

for $45 shipped

or should i spend a little bit more and pay for all of the new stuff??

if so which 360 should i get i have about $100 for a limit hopefully i should get a decent amount for that...I have 3 antec tricools running at 79cfm so would that be bad for the MCR320?...and I will have 3 more fans on the other side pulling soo push pull config(thats what i understood it tot be )

You should knock off another c or two because of the extra surface area the 320 has...The GTS and Swifty 320 are both single row rads, the Swifty has a real low fin per inch count so they will operate well with lower cfm fans, it doesn't scale well with higher cfm fans...The GTS has around 25 FPI I think so it does best with higher cfm 120x38mm fans because they need the extra pressure those fans provide...

If higher cfm fans aren't a problem I would look at that 360 BIX that was linked....Its a double row rad that isn't very restrictive, doesn't cost a fortune and will dissipate a lot of heat...You could get by with fans like these..86cfm Pana. These are what I used to use on mine, just one or the other, they are both good fans.108cfm Sunon- ...115cfm Panaflo

A shroud will help some to,especially with a heavy load on the rad....

...How To: Make any Sized shroud in 2 minutes

...How To: Build A Performance Shroud

...Poll: Push or pull configuration for Radiators

...Part 1- Temp's with and with-out shrouds

ur pump should be ok,but since it's technically running at 4 not the 5 of the vario. a better cfm fan will help out more. i have an mcr220 w/2 100cfm fans they cool just fine i've yet to try 79-88cfm on them.

well I have decided to go with the BIX360 (but from what I have seen most people have said the MCR320 is a dual pass) I am going to have 3 antec tricool 79cfm fans in the front(side with the fittings) pushing and the other side i will have 3 fans pulling but should i have the same fans or should they be faster cfm or anything like that thanks for any info
