Default Recommend Me A Chipset Block

I just feel like cooling my chipset, not that it reaches super high temps that it needs it but i just want it...so recommend me something nice then, preferably with an acrylic top so the fluid can be seen...also currently my loop is:
pump>rad>cpu block>res>pump
so now should it be:
pump>rad>cpu block>chipset>res> pump or
pump>rad>cpu block>res>chipset>pump?
what would yield better temps?

I think these are pretty sharp looking..MPC-Universal Chipset Block...I don't know how well they perform...I'd run it res-pump-rad-cpu-NB.....Always keep the res right before the pump or you will starve it for water....If you have to run a lot of extra tubing to get it like that I would just run it however but keep the res right before the pump....

Now that i did not know..thanks for the info ira...my only concern is that my pump wont be able to handle that much extra tubing...i hope it can..its max head is 2m and pumps 500LPH..also how much of a hit would my cpu temps take.

I think you will be alright, it only has a few rows of thin pins in it, shouldn't be to restrictive...I'd just stick a good HSF on it myself, but I realize your doing it for looks anyway...I use this one on my NB and its great..Swiftech MCX159-CU Extreme Duty....

How much it will affect your temp's I would guess probably not more then a couple of C....Maybe not that much...You wont have to run a lot of extra tubing will you?

I have used a Swiftech MCW30 chipset block and it does work well. I happen to be selling that very same block in the for sale forums. The reason I'm selling it is that my new MB (M3A32-MVP has heatpipes and such).

Nah not much..itll basically look like this...and sorry about the super crappy mspaint job..its all i could do with at the moment.

well the res is in the mail and so it will change slightly..but yea probably a foot or so extra tubing, but your right, i am doing it mostly for the looks.

Yeah that little bit of tubing shouldn't hurt you much at all...So you just basically have the restriction from the block....
