Finally! This project is finished....got my UV light problem sorted out as well after 2.5 hours of nonsense, i guess after sleeving i rewired it wrong (switched the yellow and black wire on the molex connector ) AND there was a loose connection where the power goes into the inverter. Nothing a little glue gun action couldn't fix Tons of lights off pics on the way

Thats nice..Thanks for all the pic's....What kind of temp's are you getting on it now? On your CPU block where the inlet an outlet hoses are touching i would put a little piece of neoprene or plastic or something to separate them so they wont touch, if you cant just move it over a little by hand...Your advantage from coming off the rad to the CPU first is getting the coolest water possible to it, when your inlet and outlet tubes touch like that over time the outlet hose will heat the inlet up, no big deal but it all adds up..You can always take the neoprene or whatever out when you want to take pic's.......

hey thanks for pointin that out ira....didn't even notice that, must have bumped them when i was messin with stuff. I just pushed it to the left a little bit and now they arent touching Before lapping i was getting 37-37-30-35 idle without my gpu in my loop (stock fuzion + mcw30 + mcr320) Now i'm getting 32-32-25-32 idle and my gpu is idling at 35C with my q6600 @ 3.6 @ 1.5v.....not too shabby

I guess not those are decent temp's...Let it settle in a little bit and load it up and see what you get after a hour or so of Prime 95 large FFT's or some kind of stress test....I got to know Man.......

just for you ira , here are the results of 2 runs of wPrime 1024M test:

59, 54, 47, 55 with San Aces silent at 5v
57, 51, 45, 54 with San Aces jet engine at 12v.....not worth all the noise if you ask me, i prefer the silence

Not sure what's up with core #2 either, 12C cooler than core 0? Hmm, seems strange to me

Thank you......Load temp's are where the rubber meet the road....Your core variance can be from how the IHS is attached to the cores, or from your mount...I'd make sure all the air is out then do a a few remounts....

No fan noise!!!! Heresy, heresy, get the rope......Yeah you just wait, you think we did you a favor helping you with this?...Fat chance were pushers Man...Pretty soon you will be losing sleep over how to get your temp's down a few more C so you can get to desktop before your kill your chip and ram and mobo with that last 50 or 100mhz that you can squeeze out of it, that lovely white knuckle ride with sweating palms and whispered ferverent prayers to pleease, pleeaase by all that is holy and good let you hit desktop long enough to get a a CPU-Z and a screen shot so people will believe you...You'll crave the smell of hot mobo just before it smokes....HaHa you junkie you.....

HAHAHA....man that was a great post....so true though...must be how the IHS is attached to the core....core #2 before i lapped it was about 9-10C cooler than core 0 but now it went up to 12. It evened out core #3 a little bit though as that was about 6-7C cooler than core 0 before.

Haha 110 CFM is too much for my poor little ears to handle since the comp is about 2 feet from me WC'ing is very addicting already and this is only my first "proper" system.....i'm already looking for better parts/ideas to reduce my temps even more ....i feel like tyrone biggums itchin for my next WC'ing adventure
