Default Powerful pump

Im looking for a pump that'll handle 2 Dtek GPUs (8800GTX) and a Dtek Fuzion CPU.

I was looking at this but it requires a seperate cord. I do NOT want that.

That would be a good one...About the only way to get more head and flow is with a couple of 18W DDC w/ tops in series or 2 D-5's in series.DDC w/Top...D-5...Both of those are DC pumps and 2 will cost more $$$....You could always run a Iwaki DC or AC pump but they would be a lot more trouble then the one linked.....

That's the most powerful pump you can buy for under $100, but I don't like the DC-DC converter. I'd probably have to buy a dedicated PSU before I would run one, and by then...you might as well run dual pumps like Ira said.

If you want more powerful...the answer is Iwaki...but it's not cheap.

*sigh*

well all I want is something that will work and give good flow
I guess ill have to settle for it, unless there is some way to avoid that DC-DC converter.

You don't have to run it with the DC-DC converter but you also wouldn't be able to get the higher voltages without a seperate PSU and would probably be better off with a different pump or series of pumps. I have just for some short testing used the DC-DC converter and running the pump on the higher voltages has a significant impact on flow rate and head.

I'd just grab a DDC Ultra and custom top, no need to bother with any AC-DC plugs or other rubbish! :P

Or buy two if you fancy it and like Ira said, run them in series.

Woudn't a D5 at 24v be more powerful?

didnt the D5's cap at a certain voltage?
iirc, only the efficiency increased ever so slightly after that point. though still better than 12v obviously.
