Hey I have seen many people mount the radiators in the front of the case and I was wondering how was that done? do you make specific mounts for the rad or just use the bent metal(used for holding the 5.25" bay device) to keep it up there? I am obviously pointing more towards the CM Stacker and some antec 900 ppl. Hopefully you guys can help me out thanks

I never installed a rad in the front of a case but i think they attach the fans to the radiator first than they attach the fans to the 5.25 bays.

I've a couple of problems with that location;
- I'm running 6 sata drives, where would I put them. I guess I can mount them externally but that's probably not that good an idea. On my mobo, Abit IP35 that's exactly where the sata connectors are. - I hope the fans are blowing OUT otherwise you'll heat the case interior. A better option, albeit not pretty is to mound the radiator outside. Attached is a picture of how I mounted the radiator outside. I took this under construction so it's a little messy, ok a lot messy. I get pretty good thermal performance from this, running OCCT with a 10% overclock it never goes above 55c. (Q6600 G0). The whole point is to get the heat outside the case. |

Well If you have a 200mm intake on the side of the case which moves about 150CFM the motherboard will be getting PLENTY of cool air
so I think the heat isnt much of an issue and my NB is being WCed (using the EK block which should get here next week) and I have after market coolers for both my mosfets and my SB which hopefully will keep them pretty cool aswell ![]()

Hrmm... why not just get a radbox and mount it to the back of your case?

because I want everything inside.... my 360 is going up top on my Cosmos S and my 240 stealth going in the 5.25" bays and i hope it will look pretty decent. many have said that it can work pretty well.

I used a large piece of heavy duty velcro like in the DD video, it's very solid.

I think I might go with Double sided tape that mnpctech.com use for mounting stuff it is very solid and at the same time it also does not leave any residue.
