Possibly. Although I recommend taking it apart and replacing the tape, you may be able to get some plumbers putty or something like that to work. there are many products that will seal a leak, but they usually act like JB weld and harden up. That means that you wouldn't be able to replace the barbs if you needed to. have you tried tightening them a hair more?

Did you overtighten and are deforming the O-rings? Hand-tighten and maybe a 1/2 twist is good enough.

Ha. Infamous plastic barbs. You might want to get metal barbs, people here don't generally recommend plastic barbs.

Plumber's glue.
__________________You can get it at most plumber's supply stores, just apply it in a well ventilated area, as the odor/fumes can be noxious to those with asthma, etc. We use it to seal the gaps when connecting PVC tubing, and it should work fine in this application as well. Just take the brush and brush round the fitting, and when it dries you should have an effective seal. That's a temporary fix though, I'd still upgrade to some metal barbs, and some steel hose fittings.

Does your MRC have a ROHS sticker - it's black with green or white writing IIRC?
Swiftech changed the thread type of the radiator a few years back, so it could be one of two types of thread ![]()
