Default Loop my E6750 for under $150.00?(Do I need it?)

My E6750 is @ 3.2/1.40v and while folding it runs 46-52c on both cores (CPUID)
Should I put a loop on it(will it really help?) and can I do it for under $150.00.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you need 1.40 volts for 3.2ghz? I think you should be able to go to 3.5 or higher with less than 1.40.

I need 1.39 for 3.2... but I am on the stock cooler, under 53 load.

Each chip is different, and it also depends on the MB.

I wouldn't recommend a watercooling loop if you are not wanting to drop some more money. I would recommend the TRUE -Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120- It will keep your chip very cool with a fan mounted on the cooler.

But if your going to the watercooling side, your going to have to spend more than 150$ on a loop that is worth it.

Yes, but you need to look used. I got an MCR220, D-Tek and MCP 655 for $95 plus shipping.

I just did my first WC loop, cpu only. I went with the advice of Ira-K, I spent more than what I had first planned, but do not regret it. I have enjoyed the modding/wc'ing setup, and look forward to future projects. If you have more money to drop, I would refer you to my thread HERE It lists everything I used. Hope this helps!

I'm selling my water cooling loop soon, for ~$140.00 CAD +shipping.

It consists of:

MCR320 3x Yate Loon fans
Hydor Seltz L30 A/C pump
Apogee GT water block
10 feet of cut Tygon
Basically full bottle of dye
Mounting hardware

I can also include a T-line and some other stuff too.

I have read quite a few of Ira-K's suggestions to other people and I am going to consider his word gold. I will definatley be doing a CPU loop and using his suggestions.

Gonna do it a piece at a time til I get it all.
