This looks great! Although I'm still searching for a silent air-cooling solution for the SPP I think I may end up getting the EK block too.

Looking good. Is your NB really that warm to merit a NB block?

Does the EK block also cool the nf200 chip like the viper john block?

Hi Guys,
Great thread, I have a few questions. With regards to mounting the block, the instructions show M3 nuts, as well as PVC washers and traditional steel washers. I am a bit confused on the order of how each go onto the bolt, I notice only two of the bolts have a metal washer & PVC washer, the other's contain the M3 nut. On the top side of the block, do I need to use any washers at all? I noticed that int he pictures of page 1 there is a washer between the spring and NB cooling block. I have attached a picture of what I thought to be the correct installation setup, but it seems a little long on the bottom side of my motherboard. Any help/advice/experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! John EDIT: Actually just got an e-mail from Edvard Konig over at EK and he supplied me with the second attached image. Keep in mind this would be for mounting only 2 of the bolts. My question is: Essentially that M4 nut will go on the top side of the motherboard oppose to the top side of the water block? Which means, the larger thumb screw/spring will go on the top side of the water block with zero washers? Is this a correct statement? Thanks for the help! John
