So I'm currently using some Panaflo 120x38 87cfm, and I've noticed they buzz a little when turned down, but still perform fairly well. What fans would you all recommend that are quieter, but still fairly powerful. I was thinking maybe some Yate Loons, but they're all 120x25 instead of the 120x38.

haven't used the Panaflo's myself so i can't comment on how the yate's compare.
but i do use 8 D12SH-12 yate's nearly 24/7 at ~7v. can't hear them over ambient room noise at ~7v, and can get mildly loud when they're all at 12v. even then it's more of a constant air "whoosh" than any fan noise.

SilenX do have issues.... and aren't good. Check Vapor's independent tests. They get whooooooped.

o hah, duckie's got a point. i had completely forgotten about that
![]() apparently Petra's is the only place that doesn't go through a middle-man to get their Yate's and some of the ones tested (check the link he gave) from other places produced odd-results compared to the "official" ones.
