Just Fold It.
|
OK now I am positive I want WCing. My C2D is idling quite high lately, something like 29C idle, 37C while folding and web browsing, and around 55C load. I just need to figure out what is best for my money. I have toyed with the idea of adding a GPU block to the H20-220 Compact kit from Swiftech but I don't want to spend more money later if I want to expand further. So I came across the H20-220 Apex Ultra + kit, which I like a lot. I found it at NCIXUS.com for $260 + SH.
http://www.ncixus.com/products/20943...A%2B/Swiftech/ Now my price range would be around $300, so the H20-220 Apex Ultra + fits the bill quite nicely, however there might be a better and cheaper route to take. I would like to cool the CPU, GPU, and NB in a single loop, all with a 220 rad. So if all the WCing heads could give me some insight on this, all would be appreciated

Loop order is best suited as follows:
Pump > Rad > CPU > NB > GPU > Res/T-Line > Pump And a double rad (2 120mm fans) is good for your E6420, but not much more, you should really consider a triple rad (3 120mm fans) for all those components.

I personally think that a triple rad is way too much. A triple rad would be as tall as my rig.....ugh....

Well I think I could get away with not WCing my NB, it seems to stay steady at 30C. So maybe piece something together....
